Great weekend in Hong Kong! The three Doomernik Dragons in the Hong Kong fleet showed the rest how it’s done. The Hong Kong nationals were sailed in great conditions. The weekend allowed for some champagne sailing but survival sailing as well in gusts of over 30knots! Overall winner is Tam Nguyen and his crew on HKG 55 followed by Andreas Brechbuhl in second sailing HKG 58 and Bram van Olphen and his crew on HKG 59. 1st, 2nd and 3rd for Doomernik Dragons. Special congratulations to Bram on HKG 59 who unpacked his brand new Boat 2 days before the first race and found it fast and furious out of the box!
New Dragon HKG 59 ‘Dragonfly’ ready for her trip to Hong Kong. Check out the new teak cockpit trim for more comfortable hiking! She has left in a container this morning.
Let’s not save on varnish.... Dragon HKG 59 almost ready for delivery! Departure to Hong Kong later next week!
How about this pulsating ride we had a while ago on our demo Wally Nano ‘Pilgrim’ with the guys from Yachting World Magazine? It gives a good idea of how potent the Nano really is! Champaign sailing with your wife or let go of the leach with some friends and enjoy the grins on their faces. The good news is that this beauty is now for sale and can be shipped anywhere on the planet. Ready to go and in stunning condition. Your chance to avoid a long delivery time. We are very proud and happy to announce the sale of the next new Wally Nano. She will have a dark blue hull and will start turning heads on lake Geneva from June 2019 with the Gstaad Yacht Club as her home port. What about her sailnumber....... 007 Shaken.... not stirred if you ask me....

Meanwhile in Switserland SUI 297 'Tachiston' helps us proving our case.... Congratulations to Norbert Stadler and his crew for winning the Swiss Nationals. This 2007 Doomernik Grand Prix was originally delivered to Ulli Libor and the Hanseatic Lloyd Dragon team. Ulli took her to Dublin 1 week after delivery and won silver in the 2007 Dublin World Championship. Still going strong after 11 years!!
Congratulations to Willy Packer and his crew! Australian champions again with bullits in 6 of the 8 races with their 2006 Doomernik.
Great racing and a lot of fun for the Wally Nano’s at the Palma Vela series!
This refit on a 1999 Glass Dragon gave us the chance to experiment with a new style cockpit side for more comfortable hiking. It worked out fine so from now on a similar finish will be on all our new wooden deck Dragons.
Today we took ‘Little Thila’ Wally Nano MKII 002 out for a cleaning job of the bottom. All ready and polished now for the new season! Greetings from Palma!
